This is a totally new version of the Gulf Mirage, the GR7, as raced at Le Mans in 1974. Car number 11 was driven to 4th by the British pairing of Mike Hailwood and Derek Bell. Team car number 12 retired after 5 hours of racing.
The body is the same for the two numbers, but difference of details around the roll cage. This is a “race start” configuration with tape around the headlights.
These limited-edition hand-built resin masterpieces are sure to be popular with collectors of slot cars that raced at Le Mans.
